TEMPE, Ariz.- Angels owner Arte Moreno has high anticipations for the upcoming season.
Moreno recently expressed publicly (a rarity for him) that he has excitement for the team’s chances.
The Angels plan to compete. With suffering from 88 losses in 2016, according to the Los Angeles Times, the American League needs to make a better name for themselves.
The squad had their first workout of 2017 on Saturday, with hope for a competitive advantage among the other American League West teams.
With several new players added to the lineup, the Angels are feeling confident. However, Moreno admits that budget constraints have been a problem in past seasons. For 2017, he has made smart and conscious decisions regarding the economics of his team.
Moreno said,”We’re gonna try to win.”
And try they will.
Positivity is in the air for the Angels.
