MESA, Ariz. — The Cubs are hungry for another championship victory as Wrigley Field’s makeover is proceeding as planned.
Tom Ricketts, owner of the Chicago Cubs, plans on a good season, though the stakes are a little higher now that they have a title to protect.
The renovations to Wrigley Field, according to Cubbies Crib, are going great and the plaza, as well as the new western gate, will be open and ready for Opening Day. This includes the new home for the World Series trophy that will be prominently displayed in the new plaza.
All in all, nothing to significant has happened for the Cubs yet, but prospects are still high, and the Cubs are still hopeful that they could be champions once again.
