Phoenix– The Los Angeles Dodgers are off to a hot start as spring training begins to unfold. The Dodgers won their debut game against the Chicago White Sox 5-3 in an all- around solid game from everyone. Kershaw pitched the first inning, recording one strikeout. Third baseman Justin Turner and catcher Yasmani Grandal both added RBIs as well.
The Dodgers’ second game — against the Milwaukee Brewers — was much more of an offensive showcase, with 18 runs being scored between both teams. Rich Hill took the mound and gave two strong innings, tallying two strikeouts. The Dodgers hit four home runs in this matchup, and second baseman Chase Utley drove in three runs.
The team’s next game is against the Colorado Rockies at home in Glendale as they look to keep the winning going.
