SARASOTA, Fla.- Orioles pitcher Wade Miley was scratched from the lineup for today’s preseason game against the Boston Red Sox.
Miley began suffering flu-like symptoms after his last start on March 14, says Orioles manager Bruce Showalter.
Despite potential illness and only pitching nine innings over four spring starts, Showalter says that his position in the rotation remains unchanged.
Miley was replaced by fellow left-hander Vidal Nuño
in the lineup.
